Code of Conduct

The network has the following objectives: 

  1. to provide a comprehensive network to which each member will take a responsible role to:
    -  facilitate the mutual benefit of its members, 
    -  have close co-operation between members to provide  environment, health and safety consultancy including advice on regulatory requirements and storage and transportation to companies which handle hazardous chemicals and pharmaceuticals. 
  2. to provide such consultancy to its members in accordance with good business ethics, that in turn provides good customer care and value for money to all customers within Europe and on an international basis. 
  3. new members shall be accepted on a national level with one national expert per specialist field. All existing members shall agree on new members joining the network.
  4. to establish a network that will cover every European country and, if possible, in every important region of the world, with participation in regional networks following the same objectives.
  5. to enable the members in the different countries to give their customers advice relating to other countries and to assist the customer in the foreign markets through the network  members.
  6. to agree on suitable procedures for processing partner inquiries, introduction of potential new customers to another member and  a fee where such an introduction leads to provision of consultancy service.
  7. that all members acting within the network co-operate in a manner that is advantageous for all members in terms of reputation and sales.  
  8. to foster respect, co-operation, fairness and trust among the members; including, of course, also the acceptance of cultural and political differences.
  9. to commit its members to the principle of truth, clarity and honesty.
  10. to gain a reputation through the exchange of relevant information regarding important technical developments in the various member countries  so that the network share up- to-date information with customers . English is agreed as the common language for such exchange.
  11. to identify the close relationship of its members by using a common logo/symbol with reference to this codex and to undertake common agreed marketing activities on this basis:
    - Creating an Internet presence with a homepage for each member particular in the medium-term.
    - All costs resulting from the activities of the network shall be settled on the basis of a cost splitting.
